Basic usage of fish finder
Before understanding how to use it, we must first understand the principle of using the fish finder: Saiyang fish finder uses acoustic sonar to locate, its principle is to detect the depth of the bottom, fish layer and body shape by transmitting ultrasonic signals, It can also detect water bottom status, contours, composition, and water depth (from the bottom of the probe).
It is worth noting here that different machine models need to be equipped with different probes. The most important thing is to use the appropriate model to configure the appropriate probe. It cannot be equipped with a high-end machine and a low-end machine, or a low-end machine with a high-end model. For example, you can match a 500W machine 600W or higher power probes cannot play their role. Not all machines have underwater imaging and side scan probes. As for the specific model to buy, you need to refer to it carefully.
Saiyang fish finder measures the distance by the time it takes for the sound wave to touch the object and return after sending out the wave. At the same time, through the reflected sound wave signal, the fish finder can identify the position, size and composition of the object.
When the transducer makes a "clicking sound", it is working normally.
Here are a few things to note:
1. After getting the machine, read it carefully according to the Chinese manual, and press each menu. If a debugging error occurs, you can restore the factory settings and reset them.
2. There is a "fish image" to open in the sonar.
3. It is best to adjust the depth to "Auto", otherwise it will always display this depth after the first meter is fixed.
4. The fish finder is based on the terrain to determine the number of fish, and the complex terrain will have more fish. If you have a GPS-navigated fish finder, you can locate in complex terrain and then go to that location to fish, but there are many obstacles in complex terrain that are easy to hook, so you must be careful when fishing.
5. The second is that the probe must be installed stably and parallel to the water surface to avoid inaccurate detection of water depth. The probe should be submerged in the water, and the hull of the probe must be prevented from blocking the probe and hindering the detection.
Now the speed of updating the fish finder is also very fast, but as long as you master the general usage methods and principles, the use will become very simple.
