Product Introduction

Electronic Inclinometer

This product is a set of attitude system developed based on 6-axis sensing, which meets the relevant performance standards of IMO (International Maritime Organization), and provides information on the ship's roll period and heel angle.

This product is a kind of navigation instrument for measuring ship's attitude. It provides precise information of transverse heel angle, roll period, roll amplitude and pitch angle to the ship owner, and realizes the display of ship's motion status information and early warning.

Product Introduction

The electronic inclinometer has been certified by China Classification Society (CCS). The electronic inclinometer can not only provide the ship's heel angle and pitch angle attitude information to assist the bridge system in safe driving, decision-making and avoiding dangerous situations; it can also be connected to the VDR system to store the real-time ship's attitude information. The electronic inclinometer provides Heel Angle overrun alarm function, which effectively reminds the bridge system of the current ship's attitude information in real time.

Product Feature

  • 7-inch color LED display, with color-separated left and right side displays, alarm-filled display to effectively highlight attitude information.
  • Combination of angle gauge display and numerical display for greater flexibility and convenience.
  • Equipped with a high-precision capacitive touch screen, one-touch on/off for easy and safe operation.
  • Integrated multi-channel NMEA0183 output, sound and light alarm, and alarm switch interface.
  • Excellent industrial product design, stylish appearance, easy installation, maintenance-free, unaffected by water temperature and salinity.

FAQ

Electronic Inclinometer

01. What is the core function of the Electronic Inclinometer in marine navigation?

Our Electronic Inclinometer is designed to accurately measure the pitch and roll angles of ships in real time, providing instant and reliable tilt data for navigation officers. This helps in ensuring the ship's stability during sailing, especially in rough seas, and assists in safe cargo loading/unloading, as well as precise positioning during berthing. Unlike traditional mechanical inclinometers, it delivers digital readings with higher accuracy, which can be seamlessly integrated with the ship's existing communication and navigation systems for centralized monitoring.

02. How accurate is the Electronic Inclinometer, and does it adapt to harsh marine environments?

The inclinometer boasts a measurement accuracy of ±1° , which meets the international marine navigation equipment standards. As for environmental adaptability, it's built to withstand the harsh marine conditions. We've tested it in offshore, coastal, and even high-sea scenarios, and it maintains stable performance without signal loss or accuracy deviation.

03.  Can this inclinometer be integrated with our ship's existing navigation and communication systems?

Absolutely. It supports multiple standard communication protocols commonly used in marine equipment. It can easily connect to your ship's GPS, radar, ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display and Information System), and bridge control system. Our technical team will provide detailed integration guides and free remote support to ensure smooth connection-no need for additional hardware modifications in most cases. Many of our clients have integrated it with their existing systems within 1-2 hours.

04. How to calibrate the Electronic Inclinometer, and how often is calibration needed?

Calibration is simple and can be done on-site by your navigation team, no professional equipment required. We provide a user-friendly calibration guide (with step-by-step photos and videos) that allows you to complete the process in 5-10 minutes. For regular use, we recommend calibration once every 6 months-this ensures long-term accuracy. If the ship undergoes major maintenance (such as hull repair or equipment replacement), we suggest recalibrating the inclinometer afterward to avoid any impact on measurement results.

05. Does the inclinometer have a display screen, and can data be stored or exported?

Yes, it is equipped with a high-brightness LCD display (visible even in direct sunlight) that shows real-time pitch and roll angles, power status, and connection status.
