2. Is an internal GPS included?

Yes. This AIS transponder has a built‑in GPS receiver (typically 72‑channel). It provides your vessel's position, speed over ground (SOG), and course over ground (COG) for transmission. No external GPS antenna is required, but an external antenna can be added for improved reception in certain installations.
